Cadsoft Envisioneer

 

Cadsoft Envisioneer allows you to very quickly and easily model your building design, interior design and landscape design ideas and show to your clients in 3D - quick rendered, line-form, photo-realistic rendering or animation -in a matter of minutes. Bill of material generation is built-in and can be interfaced to any estimating software.

Now in v4 it also has a complete 2Ddrawing sub-system that works similarly to AutoCAD and makes it easy to produce final detailed drawing sheets for council or contractors.

You can download a trial version of Envisioneer from the Cadsoft Corporation site in Canada. You will be asked to provide your contact details. The download file size is quite large, and the try-out version is the North American version, with cut-down component catalogue to save download size. This can give a poor impression for Australian or New Zealand enquirers. The version sold in Australia and NZ has a very large library of components designed to match product lines, size increments and building practices used in Australia and New Zealand.
