an Envisioneer package designed just for you. Envisioneer is based in Canada and sold in many countries and languages and can fully comply with local building standards.
Envisioneer is a 3D design system tailored to the needs of professional architects and building designers. It is easy to learn and use yet provides powerful and extensive facilities. Most design work begins with laying out floor plans, but from the start Envisioneer is building the design as a 3D model and at any time the work can be viewed in 3D from any angle in simple line representation or in realistic rendered form with surface colours and textures. You can produce very realistic colour views inside or outside, with furniture and lighting suitable for glossy posters, or enable interactive walk-throughs and fly-arounds. It has an exceptionally thorough roof modelling facility. The extensive library of building components can be easily customised and added to.
Envisioneer Professional & Construction Suite versions have a built-in 2D drawing module for producing detailed construction and approval documents from the 3D model - plans of each level, framing details, site plan, elevations, sections, garden layout and planting details, built-in furnture details, etc. The 2D drawings can be printed, output as Acrobat PDF files or as AutoCAD DWG files. Rendered views can be output in many graphic image formats.
This software is considerably lower in cost than most professional architectural software but is not low in capability. It is ideal for projects such as houses, shopping blocks, 3 or 4 floor apartment blocks, sports centres, resorts, etc. See samples of work on the cadsoft website.

1. Envisioneer Essentials
A robust building information modeling and presentation tool with a vast array of interoperability
formats including AutoCAD DWG and the benefits of Envisioneer’s ability to easily model, render,
and present your concepts in 3D, as well as integrate with your existing 2D drafting platform. This version does not have a built-in 2D drafting system, but you can print from 3D views, plans and sections.
Ideal for users who already have a 2D CAD drafting system.

Offering all of the features found in the Essentials package, the Professional edition enables you to
also produce complete and detailed working drawings, providing a robust documentation system
complete with automatic elevations, sections and an expandable details library. This version does not need the support of a separate 2D CAD system.

BUILDING COMPONENTS CATALOG
The components catalog of walls, doors, windows etc supplied with Envisioneer is of a generic nature but extensive and quite suitable for Australian usage. Also, it is easy to add to the catalog as you work, creating extra components based on those already provided. It is also possible to create entirely different new components. But a very comprehensive new catalog of building components that exactly match local manufacturers' products is available at extra cost. Ask for details.
