Envisioneer 5.0 is Cadsoft’s most advanced version release yet and comes in three new flavors,
each offering powerful features suited to various professions and their design requirements. Whether you are seeking a professional construction solution or simply interior design, there is
an Envisioneer package designed just for you. Envisioneer is based in Canada and sold in many countries and languages and can fully comply with local building standards.
Envisioneer is a 3D design system tailored to the needs of professional architects and building designers. It is easy to learn and use yet provides powerful and extensive facilities. Most design work begins with laying out floor plans, but from the start Envisioneer is building the design as a 3D model and at any time the work can be viewed in 3D from any angle in simple line representation or in realistic rendered form with surface colours and textures. You can produce very realistic colour views inside or outside, with furniture and lighting suitable for glossy posters, or enable interactive walk-throughs and fly-arounds. It has an exceptionally thorough roof modelling facility.
Envisioneer has a built-in 2D drawing module for producing detailed construction and approval documents from the 3D model - plans of each level, framing details, site plan, elevations, sections, garden layout and planting details, built-in furnture details, etc. The 2D drawings can be printed, output as Acrobat PDF files or as AutoCAD DWG files. Rendered views can be output in many graphic image formats. The extensive library of building components can be easily customised and added to.
This software is considerably lower in cost than most professional architectural software but is not low in capability. It is ideal for projects such as houses, shopping blocks, 3 or 4 floor apartment blocks, sports centres, resorts, etc. See the samples of work on the cadsoft website.
